ART/GTO is a one-person project, written and designed by someone who lived inside these spots for over a decade.
The poker years.
I started playing poker in 2006 — mostly under the handle aaaRt. Across the next eleven years I put in roughly 2 million hands, the bulk of them mid-stakes NLHE cash on Full Tilt and PokerStars.
What I missed: a usable solver.
Solvers existed by 2017, but they were built for researchers — opaque file formats, hours of configuration before a single spot was queued, study tools welded onto the same heavy desktop app that did the math. ART/GTO is the tool I wish I'd had: presets bundled, ranges preloaded, a batch queue that runs unattended, a viewer that opens in a browser.
Outside poker.
I hold degrees in Business Administration and now work in large-scale data analysis and process optimization — exactly the muscle I lean on when designing how the solver, the queue, and the viewer fit together.
