Common questions.
Answers to the questions we hear most about ART/GTO — the solver, the viewer, the open .artgto format, licensing, and hardware. Didn't find what you were looking for? Email [email protected] — we read every one.
Is ART/GTO a poker GTO solver?
Yes. ART/GTO is a desktop poker GTO solver for No-Limit Hold'em that runs Discounted CFR on your own CPU and exports solutions in an open, self-contained .artgto format.
Do I need a GPU?
No. The Solver runs on the CPU by default, and more cores mean faster solves. It runs on 64-bit Windows 10/11. If you have a graphics card, the Solver can optionally run solves on it instead (since 0.9.35), with no CUDA and nothing extra to install. On our test machine one flop took about 22 seconds on the graphics card and about 260 seconds on the CPU.
Do I own my solutions?
Yes. Every solve is saved as an open .artgto file on your disk that you keep forever — no subscription, no cloud, no vendor lock-in.

What is ART/GTO?
ART/GTO, also written ARTGTO, is a set of poker study tools for No-Limit Hold'em: a browser Viewer for GTO solutions, free preflop ranges, and a desktop solver for postflop spots.
Can I view GTO solutions in my browser?
Yes. ART/GTO Viewer runs at artgto.com/try with nothing to install. All preflop ranges and one postflop spot are free without an account. Licence holders sign in to open the postflop library.
Can I download the full preflop ranges?
Yes, for free. The Viewer ZIP holds 2,606 plain-text range files for 100bb 6-max cash, heads-up and multiway lines from every seat, in its ranges folder. Each range page also links its own files.
Are the postflop solutions free?
One postflop spot is free for everyone. The rest of the hosted postflop library is for licence holders. The beta is open: everyone who requests a beta key gets one.
Do I need ART/GTO Solver to use the Viewer?
No. The Viewer is free and shows the preflop ranges and one postflop spot without the Solver. To view your own postflop solves, you need the .artgto files the Solver exports.
